As part of the 8th Centenary celebrations, St. Anne’s Parish organised a Mushroom Cultivation Workshop to introduce parishioners to one of the simplest and most sustainable agricultural enterprises.
The session encouraged participants to explore mushroom cultivation as an opportunity for supplementary income, healthy food production, and responsible use of agricultural resources. Through practical demonstrations and expert guidance, attendees gained confidence to consider mushroom farming as a viable home-based enterprise while embracing the Franciscan call to care for creation.
