In 1226, St. Francis of Assisi passed from this world to the next, leaving behind a legacy that has transformed millions of lives. As we approach the 800th anniversary of his transitus, we invite you to enter into a season of deep reflection and renewed action.
The Centenary is not merely a look at the past, but a call to the future – a commitment to radical faith, peace through reconciliation, care for our common home, and standing in service with those on the margins.

St. Anne's Parish — A Season of Creation Parish
As part of the 8th Centenary celebrations of St. Francis of Assisi, St. Anne’s Parish, Ponda has been officially declared the Season of Creation 2026 Parish for the Archdiocese of Goa and Daman.
This recognition invites our parish community to become a living witness of Franciscan spirituality — caring for God’s creation, promoting ecological responsibility, strengthening community life, and embracing the theme of Living Waters throughout the Jubilee year.
