The Spirit of Franciscan Fraternity

Become a Franciscan Home of Hospitality

In preparation for the 800th Anniversary of the Transitus of St. Francis of Assisi, St. Anne’s Church, Ponda, is organizing a pilgrim housing program built on genuine Christian service. This initiative is designed to build a bridges of faith and love between local host families and the pilgrims coming for the celebrations.

By welcoming pilgrims into your home, you participate directly in the Goan legacy of sacred hospitality. Simplicity, prayerful encounter, and shared faith form the core of this memorable Jubilee celebration.

"I was a stranger and you welcomed me."

— Matthew 25:35
